Professional Heathcare Resources Leadership

Mr. Smith is responsible for Professional Healthcare’s day-to-day management. Since joining the corporation in 2006, he has strengthened the company’s infrastructure, led strategic initiatives, and played a key role in merger and acquisition activities. Prior to joining Professional Healthcare, he spent 24 years at American Management Systems, where he was a management consultant, project manager, practice leader, business area CFO, and Vice President of Company-wide Shared Services. After leaving AMS, Mr. Smith spent three years at the MITRE Corporation, where he led the company’s consulting practice for eight different Federal agencies. He then spent two years as Executive Vice President and CFO of AlphaInsight Corporation, where he helped engineer the company’s sale to CACI International. Mr. Smith holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Mr. Smith is also a certified Project Management Professional.
